Mini-mini Oreo Meringues

Easy, 3 ingredient mini bites which even kids can make! Great as party foods.

I was looking for some biscuits for Christmas, despite baking a whole load of them myself, and spotted some mini oreos. I had never actually seen those before, and I suddenly had a brainwave. I had some of Morrisons mini meringue pieces in my cupboard at hime and thought they would go well together with a bit of cream. So I got the mini oreos and a tub of cream.

It was real easy. Beat the cream. Pipe a blob on top of the biscuit and put the mini meringue piece on top of that like a little hat. I prefer ed them after they had been in the fridge a little while and the biscuits went soft, but if you think you would like your biscuits crunchy, have them fairly soon after making them.

I don’t imagine these would keep well. The cream is fresh, for one thing, and the meringue would probably also go soft after a while. I can’t tell you though, because they got eaten up so fast! 36 mini oreos in a box. Sounds like a lot… but it isn’t!!

These are really tiny, so expect to eat a lot of them. They are just so easy to pick up and gobble like little sweets!

Ingredients: (you will have leftover cream I am sure)

1 box mini oreos

1/2 tub Morrisons mini meringue pieces

150ml cream

And what to do:

Whip the cream.

Pipe whipped cream onto the top of a mini oreo.

Put a mini meringue on top.

Job done!
