I don’t like to get up early but on this holiday to Glen Coe, I decided I would be up at every dawn and taking lovely landscapes. So this first morning, we went to Rannoch Moor. It had snowed the night before we arrived, and the mountains all had a light dusting on them. The dawn was beautiful. I even used my tripod, for once! Amazing - seeing the dawn and using a tripod all in one day!

I got this lovely winters dawn photograph and was thrilled with it. I was not, however, thrilled with being up at dawn, ha ha ha! The rest of the holiday it was a big fat nope from me and getting up in time to watch the sun come up. My nice warm bed won the battle!
