Lilacs

I really like how this painting came out. I think I like cooler colours generally, and I do love purples, so it already had a good chance of me liking it.

When I did this, I nearly forgot that when you look through a glass vase you would see the green of the stems. I remembered in time though and put that in. it would have looked weird and silly if I had not remembered in time!

Doing this image highlighted to me that I need to get my backgrounds a little more slick so I will be thinking on that in future paintings.
