Boy in the Forest

When I finished this painting I totally hated it. However, the next morning when I saw it, I decided I actually really love it! How weird is that?!

I think my recession is a little better in this image than it usually is, so that is a plus. I like how I got the tree trunks looking as well. Might look better with a little dog as well, but I wasn’t confident I could do that yet.

Definitely improving I believe.
