This starling was a grab shot. It just opened up onto the neighbour’s roof, so I raced off to get my camera and managed to only get one shot before it buggered off!

I normally get a flashmob that comes through my garden every so often, making an unholy racket but I don’t often get one up on a convenient perch that I can photograph them on.

I know some people aren’t fans of these birds, but I quite like them :)

I do like the shot though. I like how the buildings went a lovely pink colour in the background. I thought it was quite pretty and unusual.
