On the Rocks

I tried to draw this little bird using one of my photographs as reference. Of course, goes without saying that I like the phot more than my drawing of it, ha ha ha!

I don’t even know what bird this is. It is bright orange, and I saw it in an aviary at a bird garden. It is very pretty in real life. This is the photo below that I used as my reference photo.

This sketch is a couple of years old, and I have improved since then :)
