British Wildlife Center

I was given a gift voucher to the British Wildlife Center for a photography day and I went on a winter photo day there. It was a great day of photography! Our keep for the day was Millie, who is really lovely!

The center itself is not huge by any means, but there are more than enough animals to photograph, and we went into the cages with the foxes and the Scottish Wildcats, which was just amazing!

We took photos of a squirrel in a walk through enclosure and the little guy below is actually called Ed Sheeran!

I was totally entranced by being with the little animals, and sometimes even forgot to take photos, I was so busy thinking things like “sweeeeet” and “cuuuute”, but I still have a decent shot of each, which you will soon see coming up on my galleries as I go through them and choose the best.

Image not for sale

I had to sign a form when I went on the shoot, to agree not to sell the images as it was an amateur day, so none of my images from here will be for sale. If you plan to go along, and do want to sell the images after, make sure you go on a professional day. They know their animals and props, and have your details so they know you visited! Don’t try and be a smart arse, ha ha ha!

If you just want a lovely day of shooting animals with some like minded photographers, really do book a photo day with them! It is such a lovely experience day!
